A walk through the Property of Café Las Nubes, Esquipulas

Landscapes seem to draw on the path to the property.

It is constantly visited by tourists of different nationalities. Minutes before taking a glimpse from the road, the landscape attracts the attention with a silence that sprouts from the amazing place.

It is difficult to put it into words: the stillness of the surroundings and the greenness of the hills is overwhelming, the climate is fresh, and without any doubt, we can refer to this place as a "site of therapeutic peace".

To get there a 2 wheel drive is needed. The road has rises and slopes surrounded by coffee plantations, as well as a diversity of trees, especially ambers with its characteristic green color. The moist in some paths makes the road slippery, but the trip is not uncomfortable or difficult.

You can observe the complete process of coffee in this place.
Excellent coffee

The quality of the harvest has remained constant as an exquisite coffee. It was awarded with an international prize which described it as "the best coffee in the world" after going through the different stages of tasting.

As in the family

The environment is nice and its owners, Fabio Solís and Sonia, receive the visitors with a warm welcome, and they immediately feel at home.

The processing of coffee and tasting

In this place you can observe closely the complete process of coffee, from its planting to its preparation.

Frequently the owners invite visitors to share a cup of coffee in their cozy home.

The gardens are decorated in a creative and careful way by the owner. It has areas to rest comfortably and enough space for those who wish to camp.

This cozy and comfortable house is an excellent choice to spend the night if you do not want to camp.
To spend the night

It has a roomy, comfortable house, with children games in the adjacent yard, for those who decide to spend the night.

Different options to enjoy

For the more adventurous ones, nearby there is a rock wall to practice rappel. They also have hiking trails, mountain bike paths, ecological watching sites, as well as trails for mountain bikes of moderate technical difficulty, and downhill type descents.

It has a coffee shop, where you can taste the different local recipes.

Maybe the most attractive trail in the place is the hike to the Monte Cristo area. The top of this hill is the border between three countries: Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador.

You can enjoy the landscape during the trip.
Getting there

The road requires a two wheel drive vehicle. If you do not have one, you can request help from the administrators and they will transport you to the place.

If you are visiting Esquipulas, do not forget that in the town of La Granadilla you can walk through the clouds that decorate the valley of this beautiful coffee plantation.

Right there you can buy coffee to take home and enjoy it.
